About Mailcoach

Mailcoach is an email platform for campaigns, automations, and transactional mail, made in Europe by the Belgian team at Spatie. Use it to manage your audience, create newsletters, automate emails, and send from your app. Choose the hosted version or self-host it in Laravel.

Mailcoach began with Freek's newsletter. As it grew, Mailchimp became too expensive, and Sendy's tracking overwhelmed his server. In 2019, Freek built a Laravel package to send his own newsletters.

His colleagues helped turn the package into Mailcoach, which launched as a self-hosted Laravel product in January 2020. Mailcoach Cloud followed in 2022. Today, people use Mailcoach to send millions of emails each month. We use it for all of our own marketing and mailing needs.
